VERSIONS & UPDATES
Know which version your information belongs to.
Version tracking makes troubleshooting easier and prevents older information from being confused with current release details.
Before an update
- Record the version currently installed.
- Back up important saves.
- Check available storage.
- Confirm the release matches the intended platform.
- Review relevant changes before proceeding.
After an update
If something behaves differently, check whether the change is specific to the new release. Test carefully rather than changing several variables at the same time.
- Does the game start normally?
- Are existing saves detected?
- Is previous progression still available?
- Does the issue also occur with a new save?
Why keep historical versions?
Older releases can still matter when someone is troubleshooting an existing save or trying to understand when a behavior changed. A useful reference system keeps historical information instead of replacing it completely.
Update history
For a player-facing record of changes and release information, the Summertime Saga update history provides a dedicated reference point.
Good practice: Do not change a page's review date merely to make it look current. A freshness date should represent an actual review of the information.
